Safeguarding

The Charity takes seriously the safeguarding of its Members, Volunteers and anyone who uses or visits the Shed. The Charity understands that there is the possibility that adults at risk may use or visit the Shed and it will do all in its power to minimise the risk of abuse or neglect of those people and will deal properly with any allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

A copy of the Charity’s Safeguarding Policy can be found in the Shed and may also be obtained from Richard Thomson (Safeguarding Volunteer) at safeguarding@ripon-mens-shed.org

Any allegations or suspicions of abuse can be reported to Richard or a Session Supervisor. A form for reporting can be obtained from Richard or a Session Supervisor, but it is not necessary to complete the form in order to raise a concern.
